New Permanent Representative of Indonesia Presents Credentials to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva
Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro, the new Permanent Representative of Indonesia to the United Nations Office at Geneva, today presented his credentials to Tatiana Valovaya, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.
Prior to his appointment to Geneva, Mr. Suryodipuro served as Director-General for Cooperation with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations at Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Indonesia’s Senior Official to the Association, chairing the Association’s Senior Officials’ Meeting during Indonesia’s Chairmanship in 2023. He also represented Indonesia in several diplomatic posts, including as Ambassador to India and Deputy Chief of Mission in Washington D.C, and on assignments to the Indonesian Mission to the United Nations in New York and the Embassy of Indonesia in Canberra.
Mr. Suryodipuro was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal for his role as Secretary to the National Committee of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, during Indonesia’s chairmanship in 2013. He is married with three children.
