United Nations University Centre for Policy Research (UNU-CPR) is a think tank within the United Nations that carries out policy-focused research on issues of strategic interest and importance to the UN and its Member States. The Centre prioritizes urgent policy needs requiring innovative, practical solutions oriented toward immediate implementation and sustainability over the long term.
UNU-CPR Geneva connects research, diplomacy and practice across International Geneva to support more adaptive and effective multilateral governance. It works with UN system partners and Geneva-based institutions to translate emerging risks and scientific, human rights and peacebuilding insights into actionable policy approaches. Established in 2022, UNU-CPR Geneva focuses on strengthening global responses to geopolitical uncertainty, technological disruption and institutional strain through convening, research and cross-sector collaboration.
