As the host of more than 40 international organizations, 180 permanent missions and over 400 NGOs, International Geneva is one of the leading hubs of multilateral diplomacy in the world. The work of these institutions is truly universal in scope, reaching every corner of the globe.

 

From April 16 to 20, come meet 16 international organizations at Balexert, Geneva’s largest shopping center, to learn more about the diverse and impactful work of these organizations and how they affect our daily lives!

Programme of Activities

The exhibition showcasing the activities of the 16 UN agencies and international organizations will be held throughout the day 

during Balexert's working hours. Below is a programme detailing specific activities taking place during the exhibition:

Tuesday 16 April

*10:00-19:00: (ongoing) Exhibitions of 16 UN agencies and international organizations

10:00-10:30: Inauguration Ceremony, with opening remarks by:

  • Ms. Adeline Ventrone for Balexert (welcome, opening)
  • Ms. Tatiana Valovaya, Director-General of UNOG
  • Mr. Yannick Roulin, Director of CAGI
  • Mr. Mathias Buschbeck, Mayor of Vernier

12:00-14:00: Group Karaoke with UNRISD: Singing for Equality
14:00-15:00: How much do you know about the world around you? UNDP Quiz with prizes (at SDG booth) 
17:00-18:00: Daily ‘Genève internationale’ Quiz
18:00-18:15: Grand Prize Draw
