Through the United Nations Global Marketplace, a tool to shortlist suppliers for competitive bidding, UN procurement staff are brought together with the vendor community. The UNGM also enables vendors to keep abreast of upcoming tender notices. The Marketplace facilitates the interchange of vendor information within the UN system as information is made available to all UN organizations.

Doing business with UN
Registration through UNGM is the first step to be considered for participating in tendering exercises in an easy and systematic way. Registering through UNGM will provide access to most UN organizations and all UN Secretariat entities, including Field Missions, Offices away from Headquarters (e.g. United Nations Office at Geneva) and Economic Commissions and Tribunals.
