The United Nations is still aiming for the Intra Syrian Talks to start in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday 25 January, but it is likely that this date will slip by a few days for practical reasons. The UN Special Envoy for Syria, Mr. Staffan de Mistura, will assess progress over the weekend. We hope to be able to provide more information on the Intra Syrian Geneva Talks on Monday, 25 January.
Mr. de Mistura will brief the press at 3 p.m. on Monday, 25 January 2015, in Room III of the Palais des Nations (Building A, 1st floor). This press conference will be open to all accredited media.
