Информационная служба Организации Объединенных Наций в Женеве освещает ряд мероприятий, происходящих в Отделении Организации Объединенных Наций в Женеве, от заседаний Совета по правам человека и мирных переговоров до других крупных конференций и мероприятий. Аккредитованные журналисты могут участвовать в двухнедельных брифингах под председательством представителя ООН в Женеве и с участием представителей фондов, программ и специализированных учреждений ООН, базирующихся в Женеве. Корреспонденты также почти ежедневно имеют доступ к запланированным пресс-конференциям, наблюдениям и брифингам.

Информационная служба ООН также регулярно выпускает пресс-релизы и сводки основных встреч, проходящих в Женеве, в том числе сессий Совета по правам человека, комитетов по правам человека и Конференции по разоружению. Услуги для СМИ включают бесплатные или арендованные рабочие места и доступ к радио- и телевизионным студиям и услугам при их наличии.
