Film Screening & Panel Discussion: “Colour”

Friday, 10 October 2025 | Palais des Nations, Room XIV (Kazakh Room/Cinema)

In line with the Secretary-General’s Strategic Action Plan on Addressing Racism and Promoting Dignity for All, and in honor of World Mental Health Day, the UNOG Working Group Against Racism (WGAR) is pleased to invite you to a special film screening and panel discussion.

We will be screening the award-winning documentary “Colour” (2024), directed by Dr. Hannah Strohmeier. In order to uncover how colonial legacies and institutional racism impact mental health in humanitarian workplaces, the 64-minute film includes extensive research as well as the testimonies of the working staff in Nairobi. The film calls for more inclusive and supportive organizational structures.
