Breaking Boundaries: The Science of our Planet (OV English with French subtitles)

Breaking Boundaries

Renowned natural historian David Attenborough and scientist Johan Rockström examine the nine boundaries that stabilize the planet Earth and ask whether the human race has already passed the point of no return. By examining aspects such as CO2 levels, ocean acidity and the ozone layer, the film becomes a devastating recognition of human impact while presenting real solutions to the problems we have created.

The screening will be followed by a discussion on "Climate change: can the crisis still be averted?" with:

  • Francesca Bernardini, Chief of Transboundary Cooperation Section, Environment Division, UN Economic Commission for Europe
  • Martin Beniston, former GIEC expert and honorary professor at UNIGE
