NEW PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF GRENADA PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF UNOG

Presentation of Credentials

Georges Cohen, the new Permanent Representative of Grenada to the United Nations Office at Geneva, today presented his credentials to Sergei Ordzhonikidze, the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.

Prior to his appointment to Geneva, Mr. Cohen has developed a career in the private business sector. He has also been engaged in development projects in Grenada, including promoting investments in the country.

Mr. Cohen was born in Casablanca, Morocco on 19 March 1953. He is married with five children. His wife, Martine Celles-Miet, has served as Grenada's Consul in Geneva since 2007.
