This documentary, by Etienne Claret, takes us on a journey with professional snowboarder and Olympian Pat Burgener, the International Ski and Snowboard Federation, and the NGO Right To Play to meet refugee children in Lebanon who are growing up in difficult circumstances.
The movie shows different perspectives on what play and play-based education can do in children's lives and how play can motivate them to shape their own lives. We witness their reality and how they gain courage and hope through various forms of play.
This documentary will be followed by a panel discussion with experts on “driving change through play”:
- Andrew Cholinski, Bring Children to the Snow Coordinator, International Ski and Snowboard Federation
- Antoine Karam, Country Director - Lebanon, Right To Play
- Allegra Franchetti, Human Rights Officer - Secretary of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights
