The Pregny Pavilion reopened for regular operations on Monday, 22 May 2023. The Pass & ID office has resumed full operations at the Pavilion. The temporary Pass & ID office, that was relocated to the Villa les Feuillantines, has been closed.

Opening hours Pass & ID office: 8 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.

Entry Procedures at Pregny Gate

The new Pregny Pavilion has three entry points – marked A, B and C:

Door A (to the left on approach) is dedicated to staff members holding a valid UN ID, as well as all other categories not subject to security screening:

  • Delegates
  • Resident press
  • Enterprise category “E” (green color badge)
  • Consultants
  • Courtesy badges
  • Staff of Agencies, Funds and Programmes (with daily Visitors badge)
  • NGOs

Doors B and C are dedicated to Conference Participants, Guided Tours, Visitors and those requiring accreditation.

Exiting the Palais at Pregny is possible through the external turnstiles located at the front of the Pregny Pavilion, in addition to the Peace Gate and Chemin de Fer. Similarly, access to the Palais des Nations outside normal operating hours of the Pregny Pavilion and Peace gate will continue to be possible via the turnstiles.

Longterm Badge Holders

The Peace Gate adjacent to Place des Nations is now only accessible for holders of long-term badges, including staff members from UN Funds, Programmes and Agencies, who are not subject to security screening.

Note: Badge renewals will be done at the ‘Client Service Center’ while first issuance badges will be available at the new Pregny Pavilion.
